In 2009 we discovered South Jordan for Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tape 25 with the song ‘Take Your Time’ from their self-produced ‘Only Halfway EP’, which features loads of captivating melodies and lyrics. And by now South Jordan were signed to major label Island Def Jam Recordings (Universal), home to mega artists such as Rihanna, Kanye West, Jay-Z, The Roots, Mariah Carey, Portishead and The Killers – congratulations guys!
Citing The Beatles, Coldplay, U2 and Maroon 5 as their major influences, South Jordan hope to make a mark in the industry – and we’re sure that they will do that! Their debut album is expected to be released in 2011.
